Orion S. Behrle

Orion S. "Dick" Behrle, 81, died May 12, 2010 in his Wyomissing residence.

He was the husband of Mary M. (Porcaro) Behrle, who he married on May 19, 1951.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Stanley and Catherine (Beaver) Behrle.

He was employed by Western Electric and AT&T for 28 years, retiring in 1987; he was better known as "Onions" at work.

Dick was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Dick loved working with carpentry and doing for others. He was a member of: Goodwill Fire Company and Western Electric Pioneers.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Gail L., husband of Vinny Ferraro, Brecknock Twp. Three grandchildren, Kain Sosangelis, Mersina Sosangelis and CAtherine R. Wilkie also survive him.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Sharon Ann Behrle on March 10, 2010 and his sister, Lucille Behrle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 8:30 to 10 a.m. in Edward J.
