Ora M. Troyer

Ora M. Troyer, 71, died peacefully on September 7, 2014.

He was the husband of Miriam (Kuhns) Troyer. They celebrated 49 years of marriage on September 4th.

Born in Middlebury, IN on November 10, 1942, he was a son of the late Daniel J. and Pollie (Graber) Troyer.

Ora was a member of Praise Christian Fellowship, Blandon.

He was a former elder at Living Word Christian Fellowship, Fleetwood.

Ora was employed 29 years with Knoll International, East Greenville, PA.

He is also survived by his step-mother, Ruth (Swartzentruber) Troyer of Florida and six children: Norma Jean (Troyer), wife of Stephen R. Moyer of West Cocalico Township, Lancaster County; Robert Lee, husband of Melanie A. (Lehr) Troyer of Longswamp Township; Christina Joy Troyer of Longswamp Township; Anita Dawn Troyer of Longswamp Township; Jonathan D., husband of Cheryl L. (Brubaker) Troyer of Union Township, Schuylkill County and Heather J. (Troyer), wife of Robert A. Young of Allentown.

Other survivors include five siblings: Fannie Mae (Troyer), wife of Joni Raber of Middlebury, IN; Albert J., husband of Edna (Bontrager) Troyer of Clark, Missouri; Sarah L. (Troyer), widow of Harold Lantz of Topeka, IN; Esther E. (Troyer), wife of Levi Borkholder of Sturgis, Michigan and Annabelle (Troyer), wife of William L. Bontrager of Middlebury, IN and a half-brother, Menno S. Troyer of Minnesota.

There are also eight grandchildren surviving.

Services will be held Saturday, September 13th at 10:00 am in Praise Christian Fellowship, 323 June Ave., Blandon. Viewings will be held Friday from 6:30 - 8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 - 10:00 am in the Church. Burial will be in New Jerusalem Cemetery.
