Ollie L. Calpino

Ollie L. (Jenkins) Calpino, 89, of Muhlenberg Township, died October 22, 2015, at ManorCare, Laureldale.

Her husband, Alvin M. Calpino, died September 24, 2014; they were married on July 26, 1945.

Born in Gap of the Ridge, TN, she was a daughter of the late William Elmer and Maude Ethel (Creasy) Jenkins.

Ollie was a switchboard operator at Bell Telephone, Western Electric, Jetco and CarTech.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church.

Ollie loved to dance, cook and sew. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by three children: David M. Calpino, Hazelton, Steven T., husband of Terri Calpino, Doylestown and Lisa A., wife of Robert Rineer, West Reading. Three grandchildren, Kathryn M. Calpino, Alvin R. Rineer and Gabe L. Rineer also survive her.

Ollie was predeceased by four siblings, Pauline Butler, Hazel Gross, Mary Goodman and Ray Jenkins.

A prayer service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
