Oliver W. Putt

Oliver W. "Bud" Putt, Jr., 81, of Laureldale, died June 17th in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township, where he had been since March 25, 2004.

He was the husband of Jean E. (Feltenberger) Putt.

Born in Reading, April 20, 1925, he was a son of the late Oliver W. Sr., and Georginia H. (Bernstel) Rubel.

He was employed 30 years as a welder at Dana Corporation, Reading, retiring August 1, 1978.

Oliver was a Marine Corp. Veteran of WWII.

He is also survived by a son, Randy L. husband of Patricia A. (Guiles) Putt of Laureldale.

Other survivors include a sister, June (Putt) Botch of Temple and a granddaughter, Sara C. Putt of Laureldale.

He was predeceased by two granddaughters, Jennifer M. Putt, who died September 4, 1980 and Stephanie L. Putt, who died November 4, 1981.

Services will be Wednesday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Grant Wickert officiating. Viewing one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
