Olive Amanda (Graff) Longnecker, 94, of Winter Park, Florida passed away on October 30, 2017. She was born on February 28, 1923 in Germansville, Pennsylvania, the first of three children of Warren and Florence (Follweiler) Graff. Olive graduated from Hamburg High School, Hamburg, PA in 1939 and graduated from the Reading (PA) Hospital School of Nursing in 1944 as a Registered Nurse. During WWII she was in the Nurse Cadet Corps which was a uniformed branch of the Public Health Service. Over the years she worked for Medical Centers in Reading, PA, Allentown, PA, Tampa, FL, and Chester, PA. In the early sixties, she became a surgical nurse assistant to an orthopedic surgeon for 15 years. Later she became a member of the Utilization Department of Crozier Medical Center, Chester, PA until her retirement in 1992. She relocated to Winter Park in 2001 with her husband of 50 years, Warren A. Longnecker, who preceded her in death in 2002. She is survived by her sister, Joanne M. Krick and brother, Dale E. Graff, both of Hamburg, PA: her son, Timothy J. Brennan of Maitland, FL, her dear friend, Karen Petty, grandson Michael J. Brennan and great grandchildren, Oona and Flint and 4 nieces and nephews.
