Olin L. Evans

Olin L. Evans, 83, of Shillington, passed away October 27, 2016, in the Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Olin L., Sr. and Dorothy B.(Ermentrout) Evans.

He graduated from Upper Darby High School; later he earned his bachelor's degree from Ursinus College in 1955.

Olin was an accountant, last employed by RACC, retiring in 1995.

A 30 year church organist, Olin most recently played for New Life of Shillington, where he was a member.

Olin married Sharon E. Eckenroth, of Reading in 1975; she passed away in 2001.

He is survived by his children, Jonathan D. Evans of Robesonia and Jennifer L. Temchaleun of Shillington.

A memorial service will be held Monday, October 31, 2016, at 2 p.m. in New Life of Shillington, 315 W Broad St, Shillington, PA 19607. Burial will be private. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
