Olga (Much) Klepenko, 88, passed away October 5, 2012 in Hershey Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Her husband, Anton Klepenko, died in 1994. They had been married for 48 years.
Born in Omsk, Ukraine, August 19, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Emil and Ottille (Preib) Much. She immigrated to America with her husband and daughter in 1952. She later proudly became a United States citizen.
She had worked as a seamer for 24 years for Berkshire Knitting Mills, West Reading. Later, she was employed as a cook for Albright College.
Olga enjoyed crocheting, trips to the casinos, sitting outside with her neighbors, cooking and gardening. She loved her family and spending time with them. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her son, Arnie, husband of Coleen Klepenko, Mohnton and her daughter, Margaret "Rita" wife of Bruce J. Kneeream, Temple. Seven grandchildern: Larry Adams, Eric Adams, Mark Adams, Ashley Klepenko, Lindsey Klepenko, Amanda Kneeream, Ashley Kneeream and two great-grandchildren: Samuel Adams and Margo Adams also survive her. She will be missed by her devoted friend, Jill Smith.
Olga was predeceased by her brother, Herbert Much.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd, Laureldale. A viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Online condolences may be recorded at www.christfuneralhome.com.
