O. Robert Priebe

Otto Robert "Bob" Priebe, 86, died May 17, 2009 at 8:50 am in his Kenhorst Borough residence.

He was the husband of Dolores E. (Hidalgo) Priebe, whom he married July 12, 1958.

Born in his Reading residence on August 11, 1922, he was a son of the late Otto C. and Ruth L. (Weidner) Priebe.

He was an Army veteran of WWII.

Bob was employed as a machinist for 26 years with Western Electric, Muhlenberg Township, before retiring August 10, 1984.

He is also survived by two children: Jodie L. (Priebe), wife of Michael L. Mayberry of Lakewood, Colorado and E. John, husband of Carol Ann (Kowalski) Biagianti of Redmond, Washington.

Other survivors include two siblings: Virginia, widow of Robert Wertz of Pittsboro, N.C. and James Priebe of Womelsdorf.

There are also five grandchildren: Kristen Hoff, Erin Hoff, Sydney Mayberry, Heather Biagianti and Jonathan Erik Biagianti.

Services will be held Thursday at 10:00 am in Allegheny Lutheran Church, 1327 Alleghenyville Road, Mohnton, PA 19540 with Rev. George W. Grubb officiating. A visitation will be held one half hour before services in the Church. Burial with Military Honors will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
