Nunzio Napoli

Nunzio B. Napoli, age 82 years, of Shillington, passed away Monday, February 16th, in his residence.

Nunzio was born in Reading on January 31st, 1933, a son of the late Dominic and Maria (Molica) Napoli.

Nunzio is survived by one son, Dominic A., husband of Diana Napoli. Other survivors include three granddaughters: Erica Napoli of Haddonfield, New Jersey, Rachel Napoli of West Palm Beach, Florida and Taylor Napoli of Sinking Spring. Nunzio is also survived by a sister, Abigale Canfora of Reading.

He was predeceased by one brother and four sisters: Angelo Napoli, Virginia Zampelli, Carmella Kissinger, Josephine Zampelli and Mary Floto.

Nunzio was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.

He was employed by ATV Bakery for 30 years.

Nunzio adored his granddaughters and could always be seen cheering them on at all of their sporting events.

He also had his group of friends Frank, Ben and Nin, who he had lunch with every Wednesday and Friday.

Nunzio was a member of Ken-Grill Swimming Association for 56 years. He is believed to be the longest active member.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary R.C.C., 237 Franklin Street, Reading, PA 19602. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
