Norman G. Owens

Norman Gerald Owens, 79, formerly of West Wyomissing, died May 23, 2013, in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township.

Born in West Wyomissing, he was a son of the late Lawrence J. and Katherine M. (Way) Owens.

He was employed over 35 years for Hofmann Industries, Sinking Spring, retiring in 1996.

Norman is survived by two brothers, Ronald L., husband of Marjorie (Melcher) Owens, Exeter Township and Dennis L. Owens, Wyomissing and a sister, Patricia R., wife of Edward Jablonski, Cumru Township.

In addition, surviving are many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother, Eugene R. Owens.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
