Norman F. Krug

Norman F. Krug, 87, of Reading, passed away December 7, 2008 in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Mary (Campitelli) Krug who celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in September.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Frederick Krug and Mary Ellen (Miller) and step-father Samuel Bowers.

Norman was employed by Lifetime Stainless Steel Cookware and Harold's Furniture as a salesman, retiring in 1987.

He was a member of Christ Yocom's Lutheran Church, Reading.

Norman was past president of the Greenfields Fire Co. and Wodenshiere Country Club.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Norman F., Flying Hills; Michael S., husband of Christina Krug, Reading and two daughters, Mary, wife of Joseph Hoffert, Flying Hills, and Marilyn S., wife of Rodney Pearson, Leesport.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Kimberly; Scott; Timothy; Heather; Marci; Brandon, and Michael.

Other survivors include six great-grandchidren, Julia; Mallory; Wesley; Kyle; Derek, and Landon.

Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
