Norman M. Davis

Norman M. Davis, 91, passed away at the Mifflin Center on June 25, 2015.

He was the husband of Dorothy J. (Haldeman) Davis.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Miles and Emma (Graeff) Davis.

Norman was a graduate of Shillington High School.

He was in the infantry and also a military policeman in the United States Army during World War II.

Norman was employed by UGI as a supervisor before retiring in 1989.

He loved photography. He also enjoyed hunting and watching the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State Football.

In addition to his wife Norman is survived by a son, Randall M., husband of Kathleen Davis, Mohnton; a brother, Carl Davis, West Reading, and a sister, Shirley Delong, Kenhorst. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Jared Davis and Kelly, wife of George Osenbach, and a great grandchild, George Osenbach IV.

Services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A viewing will be held from 10 -11a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
