Norman R. Bingaman

Norman Robert Bingaman, Sr., 67, died of natural causes February 17th at 7:26 am in his Alsace Township residence.

He was the widow of Alice M.(Wallacavage) Bingaman, who died February 28, 2005.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Warren Norman Bingaman of Hyde Park and the late Kathryn N. (Eberly) Bingaman.

He was a 1957 graduate of Reading High School.

Bingaman was employed a number of years as a laborer by Grace Mines, Morgantown, Berks County and later in the same capacity at Bethlehem Steel for 10 years.

He last worked 22 years at Alcoa of Cressona, Schuylkill County.

Bingaman is also survived by a son, Norman R. Bingaman, Jr. husband of Angele M. (Cerra) Bingaman, of Kenhorst and a grandson, Brent W. Bingaman of Kenhorst.

Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home, Minersville. Viewing 9:30 - 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Minersville. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, Pa 19605. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
