Nora R. Shaaber

Nora Ruth (Schweitzer) Shaaber, 78, died November 20, 2012, in her Pike Township residence.

She was married May 12, 1972 to Dennis Paul Shaaber.

Born July 17, 1934 in Alsace Manor, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Ruth K. (Milligan) Schweitzer.

Nora graduated from Mount Penn High School.

She was a member of Salem Shalters Church. Nora was employed as a bookkeeper, dispatcher and secretary with Fritz Moving Company for ten years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children: Sherry M. (Seidel) Hernandez of Reading; Alice S. (Seidel) Ruiz of Reading; Eugenia L. (Seidel) Forbes of Shillington and Jefferson I. Seidel, Mohrsville.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Nora was predeceased by a daughter, Kathy A. (Seidel) Reifsnyder, who died in March of 1990 and three siblings: Alice E. Schweitzer, Sarah J. Williams and Roy V. Schweitzer.

Services will be held Monday at 10:00 am in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley, PA 19547. Friends my call from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
