Nora T. Fitz-Gibbon

Nora T. Fitz-Gibbon crossed over to be with the Lord October 27, 2009.

Born in Manhattan on October 31, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Josephine Plunkett.

She was a former resident at the Laurel Center in Hamburg. After growing up in New York, she resided in Bergen County, New Jersey before moving to Pennsylvania in 1980.

She was employed as an Accounting Clerk for various companies, last working for Wachovia Bank. She volunteered as an English tutor for the Literacy Council at RACC after retirement. She will be missed by her friends and students alike.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen A., wife of David Marsh of St. Lawrence, Reading, PA.

She was predeceased by her only sibling, William Plunkett.

Inurnment will at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Literacy Council of Reading-Berks: 35 South Dwight Street, West Lawn, PA 19609.
