Noel S. Kieffer

Noel S. Kieffer, 85, formerly of Wellington Avenue, Lincoln Park, died Sept. 17 at 4 a.m. in the Lutheran Home at Topton, where she had resided since October.

Her husband, Raymond E. Kieffer Jr., died Aug. 17.

Born in Wyomissing, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Alma (Noelle) Schubert.

Kieffer was employed for 10 years as a music teacher in Stony Creek Elementary School until 1947. She was also employed as a private piano teacher.

She was a member of Lincoln Park Community United Methodist Church.

Kieffer was a 1934 graduate of Shillington High School and a 1937 graduate of West Chester State Teacher's College.

Surviving are a son, David B., Germantown, Md., and a daughter, Carol K. (Kieffer) Bashore, Spring Township.

Other survivors include four grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Lincoln Park UMC. Burial will be private in Fairview Cemetery, Shillington. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
