Niki Eleanor Bartnicki

Niki E. Bartnicki, 74, of Reading, passed away in her residence on July 8, 2024, after a 16-year battle with lung and breast cancer. She was the loving wife of Janusz Miaskiewicz, who she married on June 14, 1995.

Born in West Reading to the late Sylvester and Eleanor I. (Ratayczak) Bartnicki, Niki graduated from Reading High School in 1968. She worked as a legal secretary for Stevens & Lee for over 30 years.

A member of the former St. Anthony's parish, Niki enjoyed attending Polish church services with her husband.

Niki's memory will be treasured by her loving husband, Janusz. She is also survived by her step children, Agnieszka Miaskiewicz, wife of Maroun Alroumy, and Slawomir Miaskiewicz, husband of Ursula Bien; her grandson, Fouad Alroumy; her nephews, Chris (Pam) Pierce and Greg (Sharon) Pierce; great niece, ElleAnna Pierce; great nephew, Evan Pierce; and her cousin, Donna (Rick) Gechter.

She was predeceased by her sister, Eleanor Pierce.

Her family is very grateful for the excellent treatment she received from Penn Medicine of Philadelphia.
