Nicole C. Ervin

Nicole C. (Pietrowski) Ervin, 43, passed away October 27, 2014 in her Exeter Township residence.

She was the loving wife of James M. Ervin, whom she married 15 years ago on June 19, 1999.

Born January 23, 1971 in Reading, she was a daughter of Joseph M. and Doris J. (Novelli) Pietrowski, Kenhorst.

She was a 1988 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School and earned her Associate's Degree from Penn State University.

Nicole worked at Leesport Bank and Meridian Bank before devoting her time to raising her son.

She was a member of the Nativity of the B.V.M. Ukrainian Catholic Church, Reading.

Nicole loved planning trips and vacations and enjoyed all her family trips to Disney World. She adored her family, was a wonderful daughter, loving wife, and caring mother, sister, and aunt. She will be missed dearly.

In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by her son, Alec J. Ervin, at home. Also surviving are her sister, Natalie A. (Pietrowski), wife of Joseph D. Roslin, Shillington; their sons: Joey and Charlie Roslin; and her maternal grandmother, Amelia (Novelli) Kaplan, Shillington. She will also be missed by her husband's family: her mother-in-law, Fern L., widow of James A. Ervin, Wyomissing; her sister-in-law, Barbara J. (Ervin), wife of Richard Debiec, Wernersville; and their son, James Debiec.

A Prayer Service will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale, with burial to follow. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
