Nicolasa Ramos-Santana, 101, passed away January 21, 2018, in Spruce Manor, West Reading.
Born in Anasco, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Severo and Maria (Santana) Ramos.
Nicolasa was employed by Oriskis, Reading and O.B. Dyers as a laborer until her retirement in 1980.
She was a devoted catholic and parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, Reading. She also was a past secretary of the Legion of Mary in the church and was heavily involved with the Office of Aging.
Nicolasa is survived by her daughter, Maria L., wife of Thomas H. Greer, Exeter Township. She is also survived by her two daughters-in-law, Alicia Montez and Catalina Monte, nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by three sons, Raymond A. Montes, Christopher Montes, and Nelson Montes.
A Mass of Christina Burial will be celebrated Thursday, January 25, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter's R.C. Church, 322 S. 5th St., Reading, PA 19602, with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. A viewing will be held Wednesday, January 24, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
