Nick Morris

Nick Morris, 85, of Stowe, died August 17, 2008, in Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville, PA.

He was the husband of Stella (Sianis) Morris.

Born February 8, 1923 in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Jack Marousi and Eva Stavrou. He was raised by his stepfather, Antonio Stavrou.

Nick was an assembler for Tactair Fluid Controls, Bridgeport, PA, for 29 years, retiring in 1985.

He was a member of the U.S. Merchant Marines during WW II.

Nick loved fishing, gardening and the outdoors.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters; Maria (Morris), wife of William J. O'Brien, III, of Shreveport, LA; and Tina (Morris), wife of Robert Morrell, Altamonte Springs, FL.

Also surviving are a step-brother, Steve Stavrou, Elverson; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, James Marousi.

Nick is also survived by five grandchildren; Matt Morrell, Cristina Morrell, Nicole O'Brien, Ellie O'Brien, and William O'Brien IV.

Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in SS Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Reading. Friends may call 10 - 11 a.m. in the Church. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
