Nicholas A. Shestok

Nicholas A. Shetok, 97, died (date) (place).

He was the husband of Marjorie A. (Young) Shestok, who died June 2, 2000.

Born January 19, 1914 in Berwick, PA, he was a son of the late Peter and Anna (Meshinskey) Shestok.

Nicholas was a ____ graduate of ______________ High School.

He was self employed as an insurance broker for 61 years, retiring in 1991.

Nicholas was a member of the Advisory Board of Directors of Gethsemane Cemetery since 1986. He enjoyed golf and was a Senior Champion several times. He was a Senior Champion of Berkshire Country Club in 1974.

Surviving are two sons, Nicholas A. Shestok, II of Mt. Penn and Peter M. Shestok of Reading.

Other survivors include a brother, Stephen Stestok of Bethlehem, five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Nicholas was predeceased by four brothers, Michael, Charles, Paul and John and four sisters, Katie, Annie, Mary and Pauline.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Muhlenberg Township. A viewing will be held one hour prior to mass in the chapel. Entombment will be in the chapel.
