Nicholas Milones, 87, of Wayne Avenue, Wyomissing, retired owner of two local businesses, died Nov. 16 at 1:56 a.m. in the Reading Hospital emergency room.
He was the husband of Sophie (Odages) Milones.
Born in Mytilene, Greece, he was a son of the late Steven and Helen (Hasapi) Milones.
Milones owned and operated Nick's Uptown News, Penn Street, from 1971 until 1987. He previously owned Reading Hat Cleaners, North Eighth Street, from 1958 until 1970.
He was a member of St. Matthew's Greek Orthodox Church, Reading.
Milones was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is also survived by two daughters, Sherry D. (Milones) Jones, Muhlenberg Township, and Marcia A. (Milones) Vernon, Laureldale.
Other survivors include a sister, Lula (Milones) Yocum, Wyomissing.
There are also seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
