Nellie Esther Moore

Nellie Esther Moore, 91, formerly of Sinking Spring, passed away on July 10th at Villa St. Elizabeth, Reading, where she lived for the past six years.

Born in Lopez, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Mildred (Preston) Sharak.

Her husband, Victor S. Moore, passed away on September 20, 1954.

She was a graduate of the Brooklyn State Hospital Nursing School in 1940.

Nellie was a Registered Nurse for 35 years.

She was a First Lieutenant in the Air Force for 4 years during World War II.

Nellie is survived by one brother, Samuel Sharak, Binghamton, NY, and two nieces, Patricia A. wife of Richard Gernert, Reading, and Julianne Chiamulera, Orwell, VT.
