Nathaniel J. Durr

Nathaniel J. "Nate" Durr, 18, Lower Heidelberg Township, died Dec. 7 in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Jeffrey J. and Jody L. (Miller) Durr, with whom he resided.

A 2004 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School, Robesonia, Durr was a freshman at Penn College of Technology , Williamsport.

He was a crew member of the Harz 88 sprint-car team in Elmer, N.J., since 2002.

Durr was also a race car driver throughout central Pennsylvania.

He is also survived by two sisters, Megan C. and Kari E. Durr, both at home.

Other survivors include his paternal grandmother, Kathryn K. Kasemer) Durr, Shillington.

Memorial services will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
