Narian Seepurshad

Narian Seepurshad, 63, passed away January 11, 2017, in his West Reading residence.

He was the beloved husband of Pathia Seepurshad, with whom he has celebrated 42 years of marriage.

Born in Durban, South Africa, he was the son of the late Baboo and Sundree (Ramessur)Seepurshad.

Narian was employed by the Wilson, Wyomissing and Reading School District, as well as BCIU as a driver. He was also employed by Interprint, South Africa as a printer for over 20 years.

He was a member of the Reading Hampden Heights Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Reading, where he was also the Director of Personal Ministry and loved sharing the gospel.

Narian was a member of the West Reading Borough Council, West Reading Community Policing and Crime Watch, and worked with the West Reading Fire Department.

He was an avid reader, enjoyed bike riding, fishing, cooking, dancing and listening to Indian music. Narian also took pleasure in helping all those around him, greeting them with a bright smile and positive attitude, but family was the most important thing to him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Chandrika Seepurshad, Reading, and Nirvana Seepurshad, West Reading. He is also survived by his four siblings, Shanti Lalla, South Africa; Pramchand Seepurshad, South Africa; Omila Singh, South Africa; Gina Seepurshad, New Jersey, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Narian was predeceased by six siblings, Durchand Seepurshad, Lallchand Seepurshad, Manichand Seepurshad, Lilly Mahabeer, Sushie Naiker and Narian's twin, Nalini Kessopersadh.

Services will be held Friday, January 20, 2017, at 11 a.m. in Reading Hampden Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2706 Old Pricetown Rd, Temple, PA 19560 with a private burial to follow.
