Naomi Pauline Carbaugh, 89, of Ruscombmanor Township, died December 6, 2013.

She was the wife of Joseph Duval Carbaugh who died November 17, 1981.

Born September 26, 1924 in Richfield, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Uriah and Daisy Mae (Neitz) Frantz.

Naomi was employed as a collar setter with Fleetwood Shirt Factory.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Pricetown.

Naomi loved playing cards, enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo.

She was a member of Lyons Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are her two children: Sharon D., wife of Carl L. Heck of Maidencreek Township and Keith A., husband of Carol M. Carbaugh of Canal Winchester, OH.

Other survivors include her two granddaughters, Andrea P., wife of Randall A. Missimer and Carlene D. Heck, fiancée of Robert W. Kleckner, III; her son-in-law, Randolph W. Ely of Ruscombmanor Township and a close family friend, Margaret Robinson of Oley.

Naomi was predeceased by her daughter, Debra R. Ely who died December 20, 2006 and her eight siblings: Paul, John, Harry and Norman Frantz, Mabel Dressler, Mary Fensterbush, Cora Neitz and Minnie Schaeffer.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Pricetown Cemetery.
