Nancy Lou Wilson, 55, of 222 East Schuylkill Road, Apt 122, Pottstown was pronounced dead Jan. 8 at 7:55 p.m. by members of the Northumberland County Coroners Office following a two-vehicle accident on State Route 901, Mount Carmel Township.

According to Mount Carmel Township police, Wilson was traveling east on Route 901 near Locust Gap when she lost control of her car as she rounded a curve and slid into the path of an oncoming tractor-trailer. Weather was not a factor in the accident, police said.

Born in Pottstown, Pa., she was a daughter of Hubert R. Rutter of Amity Township and the late Sarah V. (Green) Rutter.

She worked as a claims adjuster for the last two years at Davitia, Berwyn, Pa., last working January 2nd.

Wilson was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church, Glenmoore, Chester County.

She is also survived by two daughters, Sherry L. Miller with whom she last resided and Bonnie J. Miller of Milford, Michigan.

Other survivors include a half brother, Robert J. Rutter of Florida and two half sisters, Dolores A. (Rutter) George of Fleetwood and Ginny (Rutter) Perine of Fairfax, New Jersey.

There is also four grandchildren, Joshua Capinski, Ryan Capinski, Jason Capinski and Owen Miller-Sacher.

Memorial services will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in Fairview Presbyterian Church, 800 Fairview Road Glenmoore, Pa 19343, Chester County. Friends may call Sunday 2 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be private in Morriss Cemetery, Phoenixville. Contributions may be made to the church.
