Nancy May Zerbe Schearer

Nancy May (Stafford) Zerbe Schearer, 71, died January 2, 2013, in her Muhlenberg Township residence.

She was the wife of Richard H. Schearer.

Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ethel (Epler) Stafford.

She was a graduate of Reading High School and Millersville University.

Nancy was employed as a teacher for Early Childhood Center Oakbrook Housing Homes. She later worked as a medical clerk for the Reading Hospital for 26 years.

She was an avid dancer and found passion in music and dancing. She found peace in her husband Richard and joy spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Larry W. Zerbe, West Lawn and Michelle A. Lupacchini, Lincoln Park; her brother, Paul Stafford, Madisonville, TN and three grandchildren, Michael Lupacchini, Jr., Aleigha Zerbe and Abigayle Zerbe.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from noon to 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
