Nancy Jane Lazarchick

Nancy Jane (Whitaker) Lazarchick, 73, of Wyomissing, bravely ended her battle with cancer on February 11, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving husband and family.

Born in Pottsville on April 21, 1936, Nancy was the daughter of the late Matthew and Grace (Fidler) Whitaker.

Graduate of Pottsville High School, and Colby Sawyer College, New Hampshire, her career spanned many years in Social Service work. Recent years were dedicated to her beloved husband and family and being a wonderful "Agee" to her grandchildren.

Nancy enjoyed morning T.V. with Regis and Q.V.C. and traveled extensively with her husband and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Bob, Wyomissing; daughters Lynn, wife of Vince Wychunas, Pottsville and Susan Lazarchick, wife of Bill Oberti, Wyomissing and son, Mike, husband of Danelle, Wyomissing. She is also survived by her brothers: James Whitaker, Pottsville, Irving Klinger, Ft. Worth, TX and her sister, Margaret (Whitaker) Perron, Pottsville. She was blessed with six grandchildren: Lauren Wychunas, Olivia Lazarchick-Oberti, Rocky Lazarchick-Oberti, Charlotte Lazarchick-Oberti, Jonathan Lazarchick and Ian Lazarchick.

She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Jane Grace in 1974.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading. Burial will be private in Schuylkill Haven Memorial Park. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
