Nancy L. Armer

Nancy L. Armer, 93, passed away on July 8, 2026 at the Reading Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Jack E. Armer. They married on December 25, 1952 and shared 73 years together.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Ruth A. (Thompson) Yoder. She graduated from Reading High School, and worked as a Secretary. Nancy enjoyed watching her shows, especially Big Bang Theory, Everybody Loves Raymond, and Keeping Up Appearances. She also enjoyed gardening, playing the piano and loved spending time with her grandchildren, often playing board games together. She was known to be a cat lover, and owned several over the years.

In addition to her husband Jack, her memory will be cherished by her children: Jack E. Armer, Jeffery Armer, and Jonathan Armer (Brenda); her grandchildren: Jennifer, Nicholas (Myra), and Timothy; 5 great grandchildren; and her siblings, Shirley Miller, and William “Woody” Yoder.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 1 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home and Crematory, 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple, PA 19605. Family and friends may gather from 12:30 until the beginning of the service. Nancy will be laid to rest privately.
