Nancy (Keeley) Fries, 86, of Wyomissing, passed away May 16, 2025, at Keystone Villa Douglassville.

She was the loving wife of Thomas R. Fries. They married on March 14,1992.

Born in Allegheny County, she was a daughter of the late Frank Wright and Mary Olivia (Gootee) Keeley.

She was a graduate of Albright College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in education.

Nancy had careers in both education and corporate finance. She worked for Hershey Foods Corporation for eleven years. Nancy also made a significant impact on countless students throughout her educational career as a teacher across various institutions, including Derry Township, St. Joan of Arc Elementary School, the Berks County School District, and Montgomery County Community College. She concluded her dedicated service with retirement in May 2002.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield. Nancy served as the Past-President of the Federated Women's Club of Hershey and was the founder of the Senior Citizen Council of Derry Township in Hershey. She played a pivotal role in organizing the "People Mover," a transportation service designed for senior citizens in the area. Additionally, Nancy was a dedicated member of Sweet Adeline's International for thirty years, participating in chapters in Harrisburg and Pottstown, and she spent two decades as a choir member at St. Joan of Arc Parish in Hershey.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children: Diana K., wife of David Buzek, Louise, TX; Patricia J. DeAngelis, wife of Christian Bustos, Delmar, MD and Daniel A. DeAngelis, husband of Susan, Carlisle, PA; her husband's children: Gregory Fries (Kellee), Heather Iswalt (John) and Daniel Fries (Tina); grandchildren: Erin, Anna, Anthony, Jessica, Christian, Sophia, Olivia, Madeline, Johnny, Chloe, Skylar, Emma, Isabel, Eliza, Abbee and Lydia; and great grandchildren: Liliana, Felipe, Evelyn, and another on the way...

Nancy was preceded in death by her siblings, Sandra K. Baginski and Thomas W. Keeley, and grandson Zachary.

Services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Ignatius RCC, 2810 St Albans Dr, Reading, PA 19608 or consider planting a tree in Nancy's memory. She loved Pink Dogwood trees.
