Nancy A. Riccardi

Nancy Annette (Sarno) Riccardi, 90, a long time resident of Colony Park, Spring Township, passed away April 19, 2009 in ManorCare Health Services, Inc., Spring Township, where she had been a resident since August.

She was the widow of Paul Richard Riccardi, Sr., who died in October 1995.

Born in Newark, NJ on March 25, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Tuccilo) Sarno.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Nancy was the loving mother of four children: Karon, widow of Andrew Straka of West Lawn; Paul Jr., husband of Barbara Riccardi of Denver, CO; Roger Riccardi of Daytona Beach, FL and Donald Riccardi of Robesonia.

She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Nancy was predeceased by six siblings; Julia, Emily, Mildred, Carolina, Virginia and Ronald.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:30 am in St. Ignatius R.C. Church, 2810 St. Albans Drive, West Lawn, PA 19609. A viewing will be held in the Church one hour prior to Mass. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township.
