Nan E. Fishkin, 71, of McKently Street, Laureldale, died of natural causes Feb. 7 at 7:50 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient for one day.
She was the wife of Jay H. Fishkin.
Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Julia (Gittleman) Geschwindt.
Fishkin had been employed as a registered nurse first by St. Joseph Medical Center, and later by Reading Hospital until her retirement.
She received a nursing certificate in 1952 as a graduate of the Albert Einstein School of Nursing, Philadelphia.
Fishkin is also survived by a daughter, Marsha A. (Fishkin) Dornes, Muhlenberg Township, and a son, Mark, Reading.
Other survivors include a brother, Irving Geschwindt, Downingtown, Chester County.
There are also four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at noon in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Lebanon County.
