Myrtle Leona (Aller) Kennedy, 90, formerly of 2209 McKinley Avenue, Spring Township, died December 19th at 1:30 am in Beverly Manor, Exeter Township, where she had been since October 4, 2002.

She was the widow of Chester Kennedy, who died February 11, 1966.

Born in Altoona, Blair County, she was a daughter of the late J. Nevin and Pearl Ruth (Brubaker) Aller.

She was a 1932 graduate of Altoona High School.

Kennedy worked 14 years as a clerical processor for CNA Insurance before retiring in 1979.

She was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church, Hyde Park.

Kennedy is survived by a son, Richard Thomas Kennedy of Alsace Township.

She is also survived by two sisters, Gaynell (Aller) Howard of Cincinnati, Ohio, Geraldine (Aller) Schoening of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and a step-sister, Barbara (Sessler) Maugans of Buffalo, New York.

There are also two grandchildren, one great granddaughter, one step grandson and one step great granddaughter.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Marlene J. Kennedy and three sons, Robert LeRoy Kennedy, Darwin William Kennedy and Rodney Wayne Kennedy.

Services will be Tuesday at 7:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Viewing Tuesday 5:30 pm until time of service in the funeral home. Burial will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm in Rose Hill Cemetery, Altoona, Blair County. Contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis, 1541 Alta Drive, Suite 204, Whitehall, Pa 18052 or to Alsace Lutheran Church, 2201 Kutztown Road, Reading, Pa 19605.
