Myrtle E. Schrader

Myrtle E. Schrader, 85, of Fleetwood, died May 6, 2010 in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township.

She was the wife of William H. Schrader who died July 26, 1967.

Born March 25, 1925 in Laureldale, she was a daughter of the late Adam Calvin and Elsie Marie (Starke) Strause.

Myrtle was a 1943 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

She was employed as a sales clerk with Boscov's, Muhlenberg Township for 18 years.

Myrtle was an Army Air Observer during World War II.

Surviving is a son, Barry W. Schrader, of Oley and a grandson, Adam W. Schrader of Reading.

Myrtle was predeceased by a brother Calvin Strause.

Graveside services will be for family only in Laureldale Cemetery. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
