Myron L. Griesemer

Myron L. Griesemer, 81, of 3449 Earl Street, Laureldale, Pa 19605, died October 22nd at 6:29pm in the Emergency Room of the Reading Hospital.

He was married 59 years to Liliane W. (Wallace) Griesemer, married April 22, 1944.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Warren H. and Miriam (Siegfried) Griesemer.

He was a 1940 graduate of Reading High School.

Griesemer was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

He worked for 31 years as a machinist for Carpenter Technology, Reading until retiring in 1983.

Griesemer was a Navy Veteran of WWII and Korea.

He is also survived by a son, Stephen W. husband of Kathleen (Nierle) Griesemer of Bern Township and a daughter, Alexandra L. (Griesemer) wife of Michael P. Fitzpatrick of Lansdowne, Delaware County.

There are seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother, Karl Griesemer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 am in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park. Viewing Monday 8:30 - 9:30 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Burial will Oley Cemetery, Oley Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 6931 Arlington Road, Bethesda, MD 20814.
