Myles H. Wagner, Sr., 76, of Fleetwood, died June 15th at 6:40 pm in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where he had been since May 29th.
He was the husband of Anna Mae (Seyfert) Wagner.
Born in Perry Township, he was a son of the late Herbert S. and Bertha (Hemerley) Wagner.
He was a member of St. Michael's Church, Tilden Township.
Wagner was employed for 18 years as a silver solderer at Orr & Sembower, Inc., Reading.
He was later employed 22 years as a roll grinder at Carpenter Steel, Reading retiring in 1991.
Wagner was a life member of the Hamburg, Shoemakersville and Shartlesville Fire Companys.
He was a 50 year member and past president of the POS of A of Fleetwood.
Wagner was a life member of the Moose Lodge #523, Hamburg; Huguenot Lodge #377 F and A&M, Kutztown and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite & Rajah.
He is also survived by three daughters, Sandra A. (Wagner) Skuczas of Blandon, Joan M. (Wagner) Shiner of Blandon and Karlene G. (Wagner) Olmstead of Maxatawny Township.
Other survivors include five sons, Barry L. of Shoemakersville, Dale L. of Centre Township, Myles H. Jr., of Fleetwood, Lynn R. of Fleetwood and Dean S. of Hamburg.
There is also a brother, M. Homer Wagner of Muhlenberg Township, 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda B. (Wagner) Krick who died August 26, 1996.
Services will be Monday at 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Merrill Ressler officiating. Viewing Monday 9:30 am until time of service. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Township.
