Mollie G. Gallagher, 78, of Wyomissing, went to Heaven on January 5, 2011, surrounded by family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Alexander R. Gallagher.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Frank J. and Grace M. (Cusat) Perate, owners of Floss King and Sons of Reading.

Mollie was a wonderful person who dedicated her life to her family and had an unwavering love of God and her church. She also loved music and animals, especially her beloved Bruno.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two daughters: Grace A., widow of John W. Kalina, Spring Township and Theresa L., wife of Matthew P. Logan, Winter Springs, FL. Also surviving are two brothers: Rocco, husband of Mary Perate, Reading and Michael, husband of Minnie Perate, Wyomissing. Three grandchildren: Megan Kalina-Delp, Michael Logan, Nicholas Logan and a great-grandson, Alexander J. Delp, survive her.

She was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, Neil and Janet Perate and a sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Alvin Long.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary R.C. Church, 237 Franklin St., Reading, PA 19602. A viewing will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Rosary R.C. Church at the above address or to The American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, PA 19605. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
