Miriam Manwiller

Miriam Mae "Mim" (Miller) Manwiller, 89 of Laureldale died of natural causes May 23rd at 6:39pm in the Emergency Room at the Reading Hospital.

She was taken there from ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township, where she had been for three weeks.

Manwiller was the wife of Russell Howard Manwiller.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Ira Victor and Florence Elizabeth (Rohrbach) Miller.

She was a 1935 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Manwiller was a member of Rosedale United Church of Christ, Laureldale.

She is also survived by five sons, Russell R. of Robeson Township, Ronald E. and Robert G. both of Laureldale, Royce L. of South Temple and Richard D. of Antioch, TN.

Other survivors include a sister, Marguerite Miller of Deerfield Beach, Florida and two brothers, Donald I. of Muhlenberg Township and Richard H. of Pennside.

There are also 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Richard Leiby officiating. Viewing Friday evening 6:30 - 8:00 pm and Saturday 9:30 am until time of service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, Pa 19605.
