Miriam M. Hahn

Miriam Mabel (Krapf) Hahn, 87, formerly of Reading, died July 26, 2009 in Berks Heim, Bern Township.

Her husband, William Nelson Hahn died August 20, 1977.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Howard G. and Laura (Klotz) Krapf.

She was a member of Community Evangelical Church, Sinking Spring.

Miriam is survived by three children: Ronald H., husband of Patricia L. (Miller) Hahn, Richmond Township; Yvonne D. (Hahn) Shunk, Myerstown, Lebanon County and Linda L. (Hahn) Philips, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great great grandson.

Miriam is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Barbara Hahn of Reading and a former son-in-law, Bruce Philips of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

She was predeceased by her son Gary W. Hahn who died January 8, 2002.

Services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. Friends may call from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
