Miriam L. Davis-Weiser

Miriam L. Davis-Weiser, 95, of Spring Township, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017 in Reading Hospital.

She was predeceased by two husbands, Richard Leroy Davis, in 1968, and William Weiser in 1989.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mamie (Border) Glass.

She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Reading.

Miriam was a 1940 graduate of Reading High School.

She was employed at Penn Optical for 20 years working in quality control. She retired in 1970.

Miriam was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She had a great sense of humor and was a fighter until the end.

Miriam is survived by one son, Richard, husband of Annette Davis, Narvon, PA. Other survivors include four grandchildren: Eric Michael Davis, Scott Daniel Davis, Brittany Hall, and Nicole Hall, and six great grandchildren: Ethan Davis, Madeline Davis, Joey Davis, Arianna Norman, Liam Morgan, and Logan Morgan.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Helen and Vivian Glass.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at 7 p.m., in Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 5153 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA 19560. Friends may call one half hour prior to the service, from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
