Miriam A. Blecher

Miriam A. Blecher, 92, formerly of Reading, died January 20, 2011 in The Lutheran Home at Topton.

Her husband, Harold S. Blecher, died July 10, 1997.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Katie (Rickenbach) Noll.

She was a graduate of Reading High School.

Miriam was a purchasing agent for Met-Ed for 43 years, retiring in 1980.

She is survived by her nephews: Robert Hinrichs and Rick Noll and her niece, Barbara Reinhold. She is also survived by several great nephews and great nieces.

Miriam was predeceased by her niece, Lynne Jones.

Services will be Monday at 1:30 in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be 12:30 to 1:30 in the funeral home. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
