Miracia Richard

Miracia Richard made her transition to her heavenly home from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital on June 25, 2021. She was the loving widow of Edner Richard. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Miracia was a daughter of the late Thermitus Eugene and Camaelie (Andre) Eugene.

The most beautiful women inside and out, the strength, intelligence, and sensitivity of Miracia was unbelievable. She never hated anyone—her heart held only pure love. If she didn't hear from you, she always reached out.

Miracia has always been the emotional barometer and source of guidance for her family. We were lucky enough to get to have one woman who truly helped through everything. She's the root and the foundation. She planted the seed that we all base our life.

Her family will certainly miss her daily presence, but will be forever grateful for the gifts that she shared. By means of her hard work, she was able to achieve her dreams.

Since the passing of Miracia's husband, Edner, she has been giving exceptional care by her loving daughter and caregiver, Marie Ketty Richard.

Miracia's memory will be forever treasured by her nine children: Emanuel Richard, Iguy Richard, Marie Ketty Richard Antoine, Patrick Richard, Reynald Richard, Lesly Richard, Marie Richeline Jean, Roseline Pochette, and Camaelie Richard; her grandchildren: Harvey Antoine, Bernard Antoine, Jamal Antoine,

Karla Diana Bivens, Jeanigh JeanBaptiste, Brandon Steven Jean, Jimmy Richard, Tyler Woods, Patrick Richard Jr., Phillip Richard, Ginger Richard, Pauline Richard, Callie Richard, Noah Richard, Leslie Richard Jr., Erin Lamb, and Gabriella Lamb; her great grandchildren: Alani M. Bivens, Ava M. Bivens, Ariyah Journee Antoine, Ariana Jourdan Antoine; and a host of loving family members and friends.

The family of Miracia Richard wishes to thank everyone who has given their highest thoughts, prayers, and acts of kindness during this time of adjustment. Each one will be personally acknowledged at a later date.

A Home Going Service will be celebrated on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 9 AM at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611. Miracia will be entombed at the Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum following services. Friends and family are invited to gather at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm.
