Minnie A. Dunkle

Minnie A. Dunkle, 93, formerly of 809 Elizabeth Ave., Laureldale, died Thursday at 3:25 pm in ManorCare Health Services, Laureldale where she had resided since May 9, 1998.

She was the widow of Roy S. Dunkle who died August 30, 1959.

Born in Reading, Pa she was the daughter of the late Harry and Sadie (Kenney) Flickinger.

Dunkle worked as a Kitchen aid in the Cafeteria for the Muhlenberg School District for a number of years retiring June 9, 1970.

She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Dunkle is survived by a son, Roy S. Dunkle, Jr. of Reading; and two daughters, Brenda J. (Dunkle) wife of Thomas Frantz of Laureldale and Doris (Dunkle) wife of Errol Orrs of Reading.

Other surviviors include a brother; John Flickinger of Auburn, Kansas; Six grandchildren and a great granddaughter.

Services will be Monday May 6, at 2:00 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing Monday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
