Milford R. Fisher

Milford R. Fisher, 88, of Wyomissing, died February 23, 2007 at 9:50 pm in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, where he had been since February 16th.

He was the husband of Mary T. (Leinweber) Fisher, whom he married April 18, 1953.

Born June 1, 1918 in Jefferson Township, Berks County, he was a son of the late Ralph A. and Mabel (Schucker) Fisher.

He was employed 33 years with Firestone Tire & Rubber Company, Pottstown in the curing department before retiring in 1980.

Milford was an Army Veteran of WWII.

He was a life member of the Berkshire Heights Fire Company and a member of the Sinking Spring VFW Post #6150.

Milford is also survived by a daughter, Linda M. (Fisher) Mohler of Dunlap, Tenn., and two sons, Ronald R. of Cumru Township and Randy A. at home.

Other survivors include two grandsons.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
