Mildred A. Seward, 72, West Wyomissing, died Jan. 8 at 8:40 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient since Dec. 18.
Her husband, William P. Seward, died Feb. 15, 1990.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Hattie (Rollman) Keith.
Seward was a member of Incarnation Lutheran Church, Reading.
She was a 1951 graduate of Reading High School.
Seward was past president of the Renal Association of Berks County and past treasurer and a charter member of the West Wyomissing Lioness Club.
She served as chairwoman for the Wilson Halloween parade.
Seward, who resided with Guy Bowmaster, is survived by a stepson, William P. Seward III, Coatesville, Chester County.
Other survivors include four sisters: Nancy J. (Keith) Scott and Deanna H. (Keith) Harris, both of Reading; Shirley M. (Keith) Columbo, Spring Township; and Helen C. (Keith) Brown, Shillington.
She was predeceased by a son, Rick A., on May 30, 2002.
Services will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
