Mildred A. Moyer

Mildred Moyer, 91, formerly of Wyomissing Hills, passed away December 23, 2015, in Phoebe Berks, where she resided.

Born in Spring Township, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Sallie Ann (Fidler) Zerr.

Her husband, Foster E. Moyer, predeceased her on May 10, 1995.

Mildred was a 1941 graduate of Shillington High School.

She was employed as a bookkeeper for Abe/Berkleigh Pump and Compressor Company before retiring on June 30, 1989.

Mildred is survived by her children: Thomas F. Moyer (Nancy), Exeter Township; John W. Moyer (Shari), Fleetwood; and Dr. Richard A. Moyer (Jeanette), San Diego. Four grandchildren: Marissa Hartzler (Andy), North Carolina; Lauren Moyer, Kenhorst; Daniel Moyer, Los Angeles; and Courtney Moyer, Fleetwood; one step grandson, Shawn Phillips, Fleetwood; and a great grandson, Jackson Hartzler, North Carolina, also survive her.

In addition to her husband she was predeceased by siblings: Catherine Spangler, Helen Miller, Violet Tobias, Elwood Zerr, Elise Bucher, Jennie Haller, Margaret Zerr, and Mary Ann Zerr.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
