Mildred J. Christian

Mildred J. Christian, 100, of Shillington, died May 1, 2013 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the widow of Stephen C. Christian.

Born in Braddock, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Catherine Pogerzelski.

Mildred was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School.

She was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading.

Mildred was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth J., husband of Paula L. Christian, Wyomissing. Also surviving are her five grandchildren: Stephen, Kat, Daniel, Lynn and Catherine.

Mildred was predeceased by her son, Claude S. Christian.
