Mildred J. Adam

Mildred J. Adam, 85, of Maidencreek Twp., died December 6, 2008 in ManorCare, Laureldale, where she had been since March.

Born in Greenwich Twp., she was a daughter of the late Clarence W. and Elda (Adam) Adam.

She was a lifetime member of Maidencreek Church.

Mildred was a labeler for Glidden Paints, Reading for 46 years until her retirement in 1989.

She is survived by her sister, Bette M. Adam, with whom she resided. There are also a grand-niece, Denise, wife of Craig Forry, Fleetwood and two great-grand-nephews, Carl Kressley, Jr. and Zachary Forry.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Maidencreek Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
