Mildred E. Hemig

Mildred E. (Moyer) Hemig, 80, of Cumru Township, died September 19th in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center where she had been since August 29th.

She was the wife of Llewellyn R. Hemig.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Raymond E. Sr., and Irene M. (Fetterolf) Moyer.

She was employed 28 years as an examiner at Berkshire Knitting Mills, Reading, retiring 1973.

Hemig was a life member of Kenhorst Fire Company Auxillary and the West Wyomissing Fire Company.

She was also survived by a sister, Marion I. (Moyer) Conrad of Wernersville.

Services will be Friday at 1:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Rev. William B. Fryer, Jr., officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
